Space under ordinary low-CRI light Same space under Elite 90+ CRI, high R9

The room should be the star.
Not the lights.

See it for yourself

The same scene, two lights.

CRI scores how faithfully a light renders color. R9 measures deep red, the hardest and most important color, the one in skin, food, and merchandise. Here is what the difference actually looks like.

Skin and people

In hospitality, the same guest looks rested or sallow depending on the light.

Food and fresh

In restaurants and supermarkets, true color is the line between appetizing and tired.

Merchandise and displays

In retail, color you can trust is color that sells. Watch the merchandise come alive.

The two numbers

CRI is the average. R9 is the test.

CRI, the headline figure, averages eight soft pastel colors. Anything below 90 has no place in a brand environment, but an average can hide a weak spot. A fixture can post a CRI of 90 and still render deep red, the single most important color, very poorly. That is the gap R9 exposes.

  • 80 CRI is builder grade. Wrong for your brand.
  • 90+ CRI is the floor for retail, hospitality, and food. Elite's standard.
  • 98+ CRI is gallery and flagship grade. Available across the line.

Consistency

One color, everywhere. No warm spots, no dark spots.

Great color rendering means nothing if it drifts from fixture to fixture. Elite builds to a 2-step MacAdam ellipse, the tight tolerance reserved for high-end retail, museums, and hospitals, so every fixture matches the next, in the same room and across every location you reorder.

Loose binning, mixed sources

Some run warmer, some cooler, some dimmer. The ceiling becomes a patchwork the eye reads instantly, even if no one can say why the room feels cheap.

Elite, 2-step MacAdam

Every fixture renders the same color at the same level. The light reads as one clean, even wash, and it holds on a reorder two years later.

Why Elite

Built around light quality, not a price point.

90+ CRI standard, 98+ optional

Where most brands treat 90 as the upgrade, it is our baseline.

High R9, deep red done right

Tuned for saturated red, so skin, food, and merchandise look right.

2-step MacAdam consistency

Fixtures match each other, and the ones you reorder next year.
